Re-Opening Hairdos

Returning to the Salon after Covid 19 Lockdown.

Monday 29th of June is a day we will never forget, the reopening of our precious baby HAIRDOS after a 14 week closure due to the Covid 19 pandemic brought a mix of excitement and nerves! Anticipation is probably the best word for how we were feeling...

Having almost 28 years experience between us, Aoife and myself felt like first-timers as we faced into our new normal, and a new future in the salon...

We had a nerve wrecking period getting ready for re-opening, starting with all the new protocols we had to follow to ensure we were offering the highest standards possible in terms of keeping our customers healthy and safe.

Cleaning and hygiene was always at the highest level but we raised the bar to a whole new level...
masks were worn, sanitizer was used, temperatures were checked, and Covid 19 contact tracing forms were filled out! Just a few of the new changes at HAIRDOS.

We also used the Lockdown period to help people with virtual haircuts, a story which was picked up by our local papers.

And during Lockdown, we gave our brand a makeover, with a new logo, website and video. Check out our video ahead of re-opening…

We have just finished week four and are starting to adjust to the changes; we are so thankful to our clients for adjusting to our new normal within the salon.
